At Capitol Engineering, we specialize in custom metal fabrication. From design to finished product, our team is dedicated to delivering high-quality custom metal solutions for our clients.
Design
The process of custom metal fabrication begins with the design phase. Our team works closely with clients to understand their specific needs and requirements. This includes discussing the intended use of the finished product, any necessary design specifications, and the desired materials and finishes.
Cutting
Once the design is finalized, our team moves on to the cutting phase. We use a variety of plasma cutting technologies, including advanced robotic plasma cutting of the PCR42, Arc Cut Pro Plasma Cutting Machine and table, and our CNC Plasma Tube and Pipe Cutting Machine the Dragon A400, to achieve precise cuts with minimal waste. We work in metal sheets and plates, from 20 gauge up to 2″ thick
Welding
Next, the metal pieces are prepared for welding. This may include cleaning, deburring, and any necessary edge preparation. Our team of skilled welders then works to join the pieces together, using techniques such as MIG welding, TIG welding, and stick welding keeping up with the highest standards set by each industry. We are one of the few companies that also have a Rotoweld 3.0 is the ultimate automated welding solution for piping.
Finishing
After welding, the product moves on to the finishing phase. This may include grinding, sanding, and polishing to achieve the desired level of smoothness and finish.
Finally, the product is inspected for quality and accuracy before being shipped to the client. At Capitol Engineering, we take pride in delivering custom metal products that meet the highest standards of quality and excellence.
Custom metal fabrication is a multi-step process that requires expertise and attention to detail at every stage. At Capitol Engineering, we have the skills, technology, and experience to bring our clients’ custom metal fabrication projects to life, from design to finished product.
